I took like 20 pictures real fast before we left for our meet the neighbors party and thought I'd be lucky enough to get at least one good one. This is always such a difficult task with 3 young kids! These are the top 2 contenders...
I made this over the course of a few evenings for a Christmas card. I know we will use it at the very least as a gift tag. I created it using 3dmax, ZBrush and Maxwell Render. I hope you like it. Please send me a few kind comments if you like it...
Sunday morning we woke up and it was still snowing! It changed to rain within an hour , but that didn't stop us from getting out there quickly to play in it. Here's our little snowman we made, and also our new chandeleir Gavin just put up, and our Christmas tree decorated with our big flame-tip colored bulbs this year--our clear ones mostly were not working.
Dec.1st has brought at least 3 in. so far! We brought the kids to the park to play and sled in it for awhile. Our park (which just officially opened up 2 days ago) has plenty of fun hills to sled down. The pictures @ the park were taken today about an hour before it started snowing. I was alone with the kids today for awhile cuz Gavin was helping a friend move. He got home just as it started coming down hard. It's been a fun day. We got an email from our church earlier this week letting us know a 5 week old baby from our church had died Sun. night of SIDS. Their seems to be a lot of sick children we've known of recently and it reminds me to thank God--and pray for--ours. I love them so much!!!
This year we all went trick or treating by ourselves around our new neighborhood. It was a good opportunity to meet some of our new neighbors as there are families moving in here almost everyday. Almost everyone has 1 or two kids that are 2 or under or is pregnant! So Bronson definitely will easily have a few friends. Oh yeah, and first I brought the kids to Gavin's work--the first year we've actually been close enough to do that--to trick or treat around there. Everyone had their offices all decorated and gave out tons of yummy candy (just what we needed!) Since we weren't doing anything too special we saved some $ by having S. and R. wear their same costumes from last year. Bronson was a dragon that roared if you squeezed his wrist. What cutees!
I got to go with Silas on his first field trip...very cold but fun. I love being there for these special times to take pictures and document how cute they all are!
